After a long history in 1994, a group of enthusiasts led by independent bottler Murray MacDavid took over the distillery in 2001 and relaunched production with Jim McEwan, elected several times "distiller of the year". Distilled on 24th October 1964 and matured in a single bourbon cask until bottling in November 2004. There were only 550 bottles released of this exceptional Islay malt. 70cl/43,1%
