CMONVIN > Bordeaux Chateau d'Armailhac 2006 990€VAT EXCL Contact Customer Service The history of the estate began at the beginning of the eighteenth century when Dominique d'Armailhacq bought vines located in Pauillac, at a place called "Mouton", from Nicolas-Alexandre de Ségur. They are located right between the lands that were to give birth to Pontet-Canet and Mouton-Rothschild and from which Nicolas de Ségur parted ways at the same time. After several transfers, the vineyard passed into the hands of Armand d'Armailhacq, who applied the most advanced techniques and knowledge to his vineyard which he summarized in a work "De la Culture des Vignes, de la Vinification et des Vins dans le Médoc" published in 1855.
