South/South-East exposure with maximum sunshine it nevertheless enjoys the influence of the Lavaux Combe which brings it a lot of freshness. The soils are very fertile. The very stony terrain is composed, on the top of the Clos de marls in Ostrea acuminata giving a very shallow clayy soil. The water does not stagnate in the ground. It slopes down the slope following the surface of the marls. The marl gives fat to the wines of matter and specificity.
