In 80s, Akuto managed to acquire not only some of Hanyu’s equipment, but also its remaining 400 casks of malt whisky, which would result in the release of the Ichiro’s Malt Card Series a profitable move that helped him fund his new distillery. A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 15 Year Old was distilled in 2000, so contains the final vintage from this famous Japanese distillery, and bottled after maturing for 15 years. 70cl/64,8%
