In most vintages, but depending on the yields, only the wine produced from les Orveaux is bottled under the Echézeaux label. The wine from les Treux is then bottled as Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru, cuvée Elise Fermouche. The style of the wines is one of lacy purity of fruit, with every detail of flavour finely delineated. Explosively aromatic and spicy thanks to the use of the stems, the wines show a remarkably silky texture in spite of their considerable concentration.
