CMONVIN > Whisky Balvenie 1970 4,900€VAT EXCL Contact Customer Service William Grant built The Balvenie Distillery into the abandoned shell of an 18th century manor house next to his already successful Glenfiddich distillery in 1892, at the age of seven, he was sent to a farm on the banks of the Deveron River, apprenticed to a shoemaker, William became an accountant at the Mortlach distillery in 1866. Immediately, he began to learn the art of distillation. A 1970 vintage Balvenie released as part of their Vintage Cask series. Matured for 30 years in cask 12524, this was one of 320 bottled on June 28 2001. 70cl/44.6%
