What does it cost to sell with Cmonvin？
Our base fee is only 20% of the selling price (you keep 80%), but for bottles selling for over €3,000 the tiered fee structure drops to only 15% (you keep 85% of the portion of the selling price above €3,000).
Consignments are a minimum term of 90 days. Early termination of a consignment agreement will result in a fee charged to the seller in the amount of EUR 125 for First Growth bottles or EUR 75 for all other Bottles.

My consignment items will be discounted？
Yes. Varying discounts will be applied to consignment items depending on the length of time they have been listed on the website.
What is a buyout？
Cmonvin offers to buyout your bottle(s) and issues payment to you upfront vs. when your bottle(s) sells (in the case of a Consignment Item). After authenticating and appraising an bottle's value, Cmonvin will typically offer a buyout price between 70% and 80% of the item's resale value. All items sold to Cmonvin as a buyout are final once payment has been issued.
What if my consignment item(s) does not sell？
The majority of consignment items sell before the 60-day consignment term ends. However, if an item remains unsold, please contact us to discuss keeping it available for sale at a reduced price or returning the item to you.
